Jobs are the
mechanism through which true 'push button reporting' is achieved. Jobs allow us to
group the execution of various functions together. In the example
below three jobs have been configured. Each job takes a few basic
parameters specific to that job and then runs the Setup,
Load, Calculate, Prepare, Store, Send, and Wrapup functions as
appropriate for that job.
If two or more loads are required in a job that can be
accommodated. Likewise, if two or more reports are produced in a
single job that
can be accommodated as well. If each report has a different
distribution list, no problem.
All
accomplished with the push of a single button.
